The Monastery is located near the village of Kallithea of Paramythia in a panoramic location. It was built in 1652 by the hieromonk Ioakeim and is dedicated to the Assumption. It was a rich Monastery with significant activity and great contribution to the area.
Today the Katholikon is well maintained, with hagiographic ornamentation from the time of the Monastery’s founding, and the remaining complex has been renovated recently. It functions on the last Sunday of each month during the festive season of the Assumption.
Access: It can be accessed via the highway of Ioannina - Igoumenitsa, through a bypass of about 3 km, shortly after Neraida.
