At a distance of 1500m from the sources (Seliani) of Krystallopigi - Paramythia of Thesprotia, the former Pritsinela or Fragou and currently NTOUMA water mill Complex is located, with a history dating back to the 17th century. A chain of pre-industrial facilities, where modern visitors following a short rout can get to know the technology used by the traditional local communities to cover their basic needs. The complex brings to life our grandfathers’ methods for milling and processing (clothes), which may seem ancient in the eyes of our children. It is worth the while to get a handful of flour from the mill we reassembled, to get to know the procedure for making wool bedding and rugs performed in the watermill and the making of clothes performed at Mantani. Visitors can see Mantani where wool fabrics were processed for traditional costumes and textiles, as demonstrated in our small exhibition.
As you leave listen to the sound of water falling, the air between the leaves, and take a walk to the sources of Kokitos river, with a view to lake Chotkova in a wonderful verdant scenery.
